This blog is for members of AKΛ Aϴ (the Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda, Alpha Theta Chapter) at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, regardless of year of graduation. This is where we list the individual years (1963–present).
Three great events happened in my life this year...I finished my course work in Biology and Chemistry... I got married to my college sweetheart, Judy Knutson....and I flunked my Army Physical. Three Good Reasons to Celebrate!!!!
I believe this was the year we had a great football team in the rec league. Of course, we played in the fraternity division. This was touch football, yeah right, it was a physical league to say the least. Our arch rivals were the TKE's & we played them for all the marbles. We won in a great game, Don Primley made a great catch in overtime to give us the victory. I also remember Dave Scott scoring a touchdown & Scottie literally ran over a tree in the end zone. Anyway, after the game down to 101 Summit for a party & some heavy beer drinking!
This was the year I was elected President, I loved every minute of it because my Brothers were all so supportive. I truly felt with them, we could do just about anything & do it well!
