You see that short list of round-number years to the right? That's your index. Pick the decade that you want, then click on the little triangle next to it. You'll see January. Click on the triangle next to that, too. Then click on the proper year.
The blog-hosting software (which is free, so we're not complaining) doesn't let us pre-date anything earlier than 1970, so the decade of the 1970s is filed under February of 1970, while the 1960s are filed under January of 1970.
