This blog is for members of AKΛ Aϴ (the Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda, Alpha Theta Chapter) at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, regardless of year of graduation. This is where we list the individual years (1963–present).
I remember going to the AKL rush party at the house that Wally Lane was living in on the corner across the street from the Kjer Theater. I don't remember the name of the lady that owned the house, but she was a big supporter of AKL. Treated us all like her sons. Met a lot of great guys at the party and really felt welcome. Having Dave Bong for my lab partner in a Biology class helped me to decide to pledge AKL. Wayne Muchow went with me to the rush party, but he decided to wait until Fall 1967 to pledge, along with Brad Dale and Steve Miller. That was a really small pledge class (3 guys), but I remember they raised enough money while they were pledges to throw a fantastic party for the actives at the Knights of Pithius Hall in downtown Eau Claire.
